DESCRIPTION:Coaching led by current and ex GB and England Internationals.\n \nWe are delighted that we have some sessions targeted specifically at our elite/academy players this coming October Half Term. We are fully aware of the physical and mental demands placed on you and, as we have done previously, we will be tailoring what we have to offer with this in mind.\nMany of you have met current England/Great Britain and Olympian James Gall (Jamma). We are very excited that he will be with us once again and supporting you both on and off the field.\nJamma is a remarkable individual. Both his approach and outlook to life have undoubtedly contributed to not only his remarkable recovery from a life-threatening injury but also his ability to compete successfully in elite sport. He is fascinating to talk to and credits his sports psychologist with much of his metamorphosis from a rather irascible (but ambitious) teenager to a composed, calm, young man. Jamma will deliver some off-pitch workshops, alongside technical on-pitch training.\nPlease click here ( https://classhockey.com/our-coaches/james-gall/ ) if you’d like to hear more about him.\nThere will also be a focus on your physical development and movement patterns, delivered by our specialised conditioning coaches. Our ability to move efficiently, whatever sport we play, enables improved performance. We will ensure this continues to be a thread throughout our sessions as we know from experience the hugely positive impact this makes, not least our ability to stay injury free.\nFor those players that wish to attend a half-day, the above will take place from 9am-12pm.\nIf you’d like to attend a full day, the main focus during the afternoon will be match play.\nSchool Years: 9-13\nTime: 9.00am-12.00noon or 9.00am-3.30pm\nDate: Monday 28 – Tuesday 29 October 2024\nCost: £100 half days or £162.50 full days\nVenue: Cambridge University Sports Ground, Wilberforce Road, CB3 0EQ\nBook Now\n \nFAQs\nHow do I receive an invitation?\nIn most cases we will have seen you play and feel that you will be more than comfortable with the step up in both physical and mental expectation. Please check the weather and bring spare clothes/waterproofs.\nWhat’s the refund policy?\nIn all cases we will do our best to fill your place and refund in full, minus administrative charges.
