October Camp – Afternoon (Sch yrs 9-13)

Coaching led by current and ex GB and England Internationals.

About this Event

We are delighted to be sharing details of our plans for this October Half Term. Our head coach Nick Thompson (Atlanta Olympian, 196 caps) will be joined by Tokyo Olympian James Gall (Jamma) and his brother, (ex International and current Surbiton 1st IX captain Jon Gall). We are excited that Jamma is able to give us his time whilst the Great Britain Internationals take a break from the centralised programme.

Camp objectives: 

CONFIDENCE: We will continue to encourage the players to express themselves, understand their strengths and to play to them.

PRESSURE: In addition to this we will re-visit the importance of performing skills under pressure, ensuring players achieve greater consistency both in training and match play.

FAQs

What to bring?
Your hockey stick, gumshield, shinpads and plenty to drink as you will not be able to re-fill bottles. Please check the weather and bring spare clothes/waterproofs.

What’s the refund policy?
Due to covid-19 our refund policy has changed. You will receive a full refund if you are required to self isolate prior to the session starting.

If an event is cancelled you will receive a full refund.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
You can park in a side road (i.e. Clarkson) for free and walk through the gate and across the playing fields to the astro.
