Sam brings to the team a wealth of experience in Strength and Conditioning. He studied Sport Science at Loughborough University and also completed a semester in Canada at the University of Toronto. SamCoeFitness was established in 2011 and he now works with athletes of all abilities and ages. He has coached professional football, rugby and tennis players and been part of athletic development programmes with Northampton Saints RFC, Worcester Warriors RFC, City of Cambridge Swimming Squads and Cambridge City Hockey Club.

Sam thoroughly enjoys working with young and keen talent. He takes great pleasure in improving all aspects of an individual’s fitness. He is knowledgeable and understands what it takes to be an elite athlete. He adopts an holistic approach to his teaching, aiding and enhancing the physical, mental and technical aspects of our players’ games in a sport-specific context.

Sam spearheads the athletic development at Class Hockey and has made a huge impact to our programme since he joined us in 2013.
