All of our camps aim to be fun and enjoyable, as well as instructive. With the quality of our coaching team, each course ensures that players will learn the correct and up-to-date technical and tactical aspects of the game. With our Athlete Development Programme in place at all levels, our players will have the opportunity to improve their speed, agility and conditioning. Individual feedback is given throughout the camp to ensure each player’s personal development.
Every course finishes with either a tournament or a competitive match, followed by an awards presentation.
Half Day Camps are for our younger players who are new to the game or who are not quite ready for the intensity and duration of a full day. We concentrate on basic skill technique, how to transfer these skills into small sided games, and inspiring the young players to practise away from our courses.
The Full Day Holiday Camps aim to be fun while ensuring the players’ attention is on improving their technique and game awareness. The morning sessions focus on skill development and the afternoons concentrate on match play and tactical areas of the game. All abilities are welcome and all we ask is for you to give your very best to improve in training and matches.
Our Residential Camps are great fun and a good opportunity to spend some social time with our coaching team. We offer indoor hockey and swimming alongside other sports and fun activities. Coaches and players stay in excellent school boarding accommodation.
Our Goalkeeping Camps are run by England and Great Britain’s Patrick Smith and England coach Graham Mansell-Grace. All abilities are welcome and you will leave the camp having improved your technique and with a greater understanding of what makes a top GK.
The Academy Camps are invitation only, for those players who show sound technique, good game awareness and the potential to play representative hockey. Players are expected to work incredibly hard and possess an appetite to learn more complex, technical skills. These camps are designed for those who are serious about taking their hockey to the next level.
The Elite Camps are also invitation only and are for players at Futures Cup level or above. They stretch those who already have good technique to the next level. The demanding schedule, both physically and mentally, will test any player. To succeed at the highest level you need to continually push yourself and we expect players to work out of their comfort zone.
