About this Event
Indoor:
The re-introduction of our exciting indoor camp led by senior international James Albery, a young man gifted with fast hands and phenomenal talent.
Anyone who has watched an indoor game will appreciate just how fast and exhilarating it is. It’s like the normal game on fast forward! Mastering the skills and techniques required is both great fun and also an excellent way to sharpen up for the second half of the outdoor season, not least in terms of the fitness levels required.
Outdoor Masterclass:
Our focus will be goalscoring and out-letting: 3 hours of fast-paced, fun-packed practices that will furnish you with more ingenious ways to put the ball in the back of the net. There’s no bigger buzz than scoring goals. You will be put through your paces by our very own Nick Thompson who scored over 200 goals in the National League and 58 at international level; what he doesn’t know about goal scoring isn’t worth knowing.
Our second focal point will be about defending but specifically about how to convert defence into attack. ‘Out-letting’ is a lethal weapon and one which all top teams excel at. It’s an all inclusive skill as every position on the pitch has a role to play and the sooner one can grasp the principles and master the skills involved the better.
Christmas Fun Day:
In an ever changing world where everything you do is analysed and judged we felt it would be a great idea if you had the opportunity to just play. Michael Jordan’s exhortation to, ‘Just play. Have fun. Enjoy the game,’ says it all.
To that end we’ll be playing 2 v 2, 4 v 4, 7 v 7 and full pitch games and enjoying them all! Three hours of match play and fun challenges sprinkled with a little festive spirit. With Christmas music and opportunities to win prizes, we hope you will come and join us for what should be the perfect way to celebrate both hockey and Christmas!
10% discount will be applied at checkout if you join us for all three courses.
Goalkeepers are welcome to book on all of the courses. They will recieve specialist training from England GK Zara Rose.

Outdoor Masterclasses:

Numbers are limited due to the nature of these camps. Provision to look after your children during the lunch break can be arranged upon request. However, there would be a minimal charge to cover the room hire.

FAQs
What to bring?
Your hockey stick, gumshield, shinpads and plenty to drink as you will not be able to re-fill bottles. Please check the weather and bring spare clothes/waterproofs.
What’s the refund policy?
Due to covid-19 our refund policy has changed. You will receive a full refund if you are required to self isolate prior to the session starting.
If an event is cancelled you will receive a full refund.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is parking on site at the school.
