Class Hockey Safeguarding

Policy Statement

Class Hockey provides hockey and athletic development coaching to children and young adults aged between 5 – 18 years old at a variety of school, club and university venues across Cambridge. Coaching is delivered in half or full day camps or residential activities involving overnight stays.

Class Hockey places the highest priority on the safety and enjoyment of all children and young people engaged within its programmes, and acknowledges its duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.

Class Hockey has adopted England Hockey’s Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Hockey Policy which binds all clubs, associations and individuals involved in hockey. This policy will be strictly enforced and all players, coaches and parents are directed to read it and use as reference for any issues that might be of concern.
